Meet - Dr. Roxanne Woods
Dr. Roxanne Woods has been a Family Physician for 7 years and an Emergency Room physician for 20 years. She graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a bachelors degree in science, and got her medical degree from Oklahoma State University – College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to her extensive medical background, she has dedicated years to researching and completing advanced courses in Functional and Anti-Aging Medicine and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). She will soon be certified in Advanced BHRT through the Academy of Preventive and Innovative Medicine.
Dr. Woods’ passion for hormone health is deeply personal. After experiencing menopause herself and struggling with its symptoms, she discovered how life-changing bioidentical hormone optimization could be. However, she also realized that many of her friends, colleagues, and patients were struggling to access the same quality care.
Many doctors, including OB/GYNs, don’t prescribe BHRT or lack the expertise to optimize hormone levels effectively. Wellness centers offering hormone therapy often have long waitlists or high costs, leaving many patients without options. Seeing this gap, Dr. Woods knew she had to step in.
She founded Bioidentical Hormone Bliss in Katy, Texas to provide affordable, accessible, and highly effective hormone therapy to men and women over 40 who want to feel their best again.
